Archana Prakash

Supervising Attorney

Archana joined NDS in February of 2008 after working as a staff attorney at the Bronx Defenders for two-and-a-half years. She became a Supervising Attorney at NDS in July of 2011. Previously, Archana served as the Civil Rights Fellow at Cochran, Neufeld & Scheck, litigating high-impact wrongful conviction and police brutality cases, and clerked for the Honorable Myron Thompson in Montgomery, Alabama. Archana graduated from Columbia Law School in 2002, where she was awarded the Lowenstein Fellowship for her commitment to public service.
