As a holistic public defender office, NDS tries to recognize and address the reasons why our clients have become involved with the criminal justice system, and provide an array of services that will assist our community. This mission is made possible with the support of a diverse group of corporations, foundations, and individuals. Your generous gift can help NDS:

• Provide comprehensive social work support for clients who struggle with substance abuse, homelessness, and mental health problems;
• Offer intensive case management for our youngest clients and their families;
• Identify and consult with clients who may have immigration concerns, and provide direct representation in immigration court;
• Provide representation or referrals for clients with family, housing, and civil court matters;
• Teach leadership and conflict resolution skills to young people in our community; and
• Educate, mentor, and support formerly incarcerated fathers who are trying to re-build relationships with their children and families.

Gift Matching Program

Many employers have a matching gift benefit that will allow you to double or even triple your support for NDS. Each company has its own program guidelines; we recommend that you contact your company's human resources department to find out if your company will match your generous gift to NDS.

NDS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. Once your donation is processed you will receive a donation acknowledgment by mail.
