NDS
represents over 3,000 clients every year. Among them are some
remarkable people whose stories highlight the importance of
our mission - to provide all our clients with a vigorous defense
by entering cases early, thoroughly investigating the circumstances
of the alleged crime, representing clients in collateral civil
cases and responding to the broader social problems that bring
our clients into court. NDS also has a youth program that
was developed in response to the issues that arise in the
heavily-policed communities of Northern Manhattan. Check this
